HP Scanner Driver & Win Zip

Trying for three weeks to get Windows XP to recognize my
scanner. Downloded new driver from HP but get
message "WinZip unable to open file" HP support says
uninstall Win Zip. Can't find Win Zip to install it! Not
in Win XP's program files. ANyone have any idea how to
make this work with Mr. gates' wonderful software?

Scanners everywhere are up in arms! MY Espon CX5400 is
included. The TWAIN drivers conflict with the XP WIA
drivers. Good luck finding help...Try reading Microsoft
Article # 300462. Anyone else have an idea?

I have a Plustek USB scanner and am having the same
problem you describe, Eduardo. I wish I had not installed
ny scanner, after all its a USB device! It shouldn't need
any driver. But I installed the one Plustek said was for
XP and now I can't get rid of it, same as you describe.
Just hope somebody has a solution...
