I converted a PDF file to word and from there I need to change the format to
look like the a customised Style for main heading, sub heading adn paragraph.
I.e. each line from the heading to the actual paragraphs have specific style,
intend and margins. how can i autchange the full document to look like those
styles?

In my experience, converting PDF to RTF or DOC results in many generated
styles. You need to change those styles to the ones you want. There are two
ways to approach this, neither of which is fully automated.

1. Use Format > Style to delete your standard styles then rename the
most-used generated style to the standard style you want. Redefine that new
style to look the way you want it to, probably by using the Organizer to copy
the style definition from an existing document to the new document. Handle
exceptions manually.

2. Use Find and Replace to replace the generated styles with the standard
style you want. You need to click the More button in the Find and Replace
dialog box to see the Format button. You don't enter any text to search for
or replace, but you apply a style to the find and replace boxes using Format
Style and selecting from the list.
