How do you remove firewalls that dont exist?

It has EVERYTHING to do with your question.

Well that isnt a firewall is it.

That got nothing to do with my question either.

Question, Paul: My add/remove list says Winfax is installed on my
machine.
Please tell me what this means, and what it does not mean.

You'd be happier if, in the future, you had your questions written by
someone who got past 7th grade English. Your original message was gibberish.

Just for the record, it's you who are having the problem with the
language, and more than one person has told you so.

Being arrogant is all well and good, but it doesn't work very well when
you're wrong, dead wrong. It just makes you look stupid.

Let's start over. And, for this part of the discussion, use bottom posting
so it reads like a book does in the civilized world. Let's deal with one
machine at a time.

Did you, or did you not say that on one machine, you had ZoneAlarm, and
service pack 2? Did you say this? Yes or no.

I admire your patience and fortitude - after his insults I would have dumped
the poster.
I too found the original post gibberish - not sure they have clarified
anything yet.
Take care

You've been the only person, who has replied
with a normal answer lol.

When Microsoft stops treating its customers as thieves, I might consider
running Windoze again. Of course, I wouldn't allow it to access the
Internet. Windoze has no place on the Internet.

I am experiencing the same exact problem but I only have 1 firewall
installed and when I turn windows firewall off I get the message that more
than 1 firewall is installed...

I've been trying everything to try to find where this other firewall windows
is detecting and how it detects it...

Their must be some line on the reg that windows is reading to tell me this
other firewall is installed...

Where is it and how do I track it down...

Well, there is no firewall in AVG. I don't know about Spy Sweeper. Since
I can't see your computer, I don't know what you do or don't have
installed. All I can suggest is that you look again or have a
professional take a look at it.

You've either got something installed that is acting as a firewall or
you previously had something installed that was a firewall and it
didn't get uninstalled properly. ZoneAlarm is well-known for that.
