Love it, and i skipped Vista altogether.

Been using the Release Candidate for the last two or three months so installing Win 7 Ultimate yesterday and nothing surprised me.

Its a worth while purchase imo, and a massive step up from XP. Let face it XP is old now, almost 10 years iirc.

That’s why I ask, as I was very disappointed with Vista.

It is looking on two replies that you are convincing me.

Two thumbs up from me too :) I really like it - it flies on my PC and laptop (even though the laptop is very low-spec).

Excellent!!

I been playing "my" game this evening, I have not changed any hardware, and the graphics have blown me away ... dunno if its W7, nVidia's 64bit drivers, or both.

Yup, chuffed to bits with it ... shame we can't get a refund on Vista.

Hey Mr Mad, check out itsme's wording a little more closely...

2 x 64 Bit, 2 x 32 Bit.

Lemme see, I make that 4 disks :p

As for why asking on two different threads, an opinion was being sought independent from other current Win 7 threads, collating the evidence, as it were.

You have to download the Mail program seperately: El Linko

Or you can use the freebie software that is Thunderbird.

OK this is what I did downloaded "Thunderbird"> "Windows mail" and then I remembered "Incredimail" :thumb: turned out that the later suited best [no pop-ups] and no problems no hitch;) SOLVED! thanks FBS:nod:

Hi Itsme.

I`ve just bought two computers both came with Vista. One of them ,a laptop, was for my daughter, the other a desk top is for me. So far we both like Vista,it really is not so different from XP.True you have to find your way around it,but that was case in XP. So what is it that you don`t like about Vista Itsme. I think we shall wait awhile to see how Windows7 pans out.
But please let me know your experience with Vista.
Ta.
