How do I load Microsoft Equation 3.0?

Guest

I work at a school and need to load Microsoft Equation Editor in order to
develop examinations in mathmatics. It is available on my computer at work,
but is not immediately available in my Word v.2002 program. So I need to
load it, but don't know where to find it. Can you help?

If it does not appear under Insert>Object, you will have to re-run the
installation program and select Custom install, then you will be able to
select that specific item to install it.

Assuming you do not find Microsoft Equation 3.0 in the list under Insert |
Object | Create New, go to Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs, select
Microsoft Office, and click the Change button. In the first page, select
"Add or Remove Features." On the next page, expand "Office Tools." Select
Equation Editor and set it to "Run from My Computer." Click the Update
button, and insert the Office CD when prompted.

To make it easier to access the EE, you can add a toolbar button for it
using Tools | Customize.
