Ana

All,

I have a home XP attempting to connect to a remote XP Pro through company's
VPN through Secure Remote between my DSL and my home computer. I can also
ping the machine at work and I am authenicated through my secure remote.

When I attempt to connect to it though RD or Terminal
Services or PCAnywhere, the remote desktop screen comes up as a black Then I
get the following message:

"The connection to the remote computer is broken. This
may have been caused a network error. Please try
connecting to the computer again."

I have no problem connecting to my work PC with Linksys wired router. I have
a Dlink 514 revision C

I have forwarded the ports, increased MTU - done everything the newsgroups
and Microsoft says. It still doesn't work. Please help!!!!!!!

That KB article references the only solution to this problem other
than what is caused by normal network corruption/packet loss errors..
