help & support files missing from windows xp professional

since installing service pack 2 on my windows xp pro. computer, I seem to
have lost all access to help & support. The icon for it is still on the
desktop but nothing happens when i click on it.
also, when I try a search for help & support the computer finds nothing.
Anyone got any ideas on how to get help & support back onto my computer
because I really need it.
