Help please-mydocs/pictures-viewing

when i browse this folder,it seems to continually default to
"filmstrip" view. I have several different folders in "my pictures"
and as i flick from one to the other it automatically goes to
filmstrip view so i have to manually change it. How can i set the view
permanently to icons or list?

you want

yes indeed,or at the very least,set it as default so that it stays as
the default until i reset it..
