my pictures filmstrip

When I view my pic with the filmstrip, only the icon appears, no pic. and the
filmstrip is at the top of the page.The pic highlighted does not appear.
Also My pictures will not run a slidshow, or let me bring up pic with the
Windows pic and fax viewer. I'm not sure if these problems are related, or
how to correct them. Help me please!

Click Start, Run and type:

regsvr32 shimgvw.dll

Press Enter, and you should now see the following dialog .Click OK.
