Russ

I have installed the MS Antispyware, and it works
wonderfully. However after I ran the auto update and then
rebooted the machine, when I loged in to my Windows XP
Pro, the icon for MS spyware is missing from the tray. I
have checked all the options in the program, and it is SET
to dispay it... but it will not.

Any ideas?

Give this a try:
Open up control panel and double-click on add/remove programs.
Select Microsoft AntiSpyware
Select "Change"
On the Microsoft AntiSpyware Maintenance Wizard, click next.
On the next screen (Microsoft AntiSpyware Maintenance Wizard) select Update
Microsoft AntiSpyware and click next.
Select Install
Let the product update.
Click Finish.

i have tried this and it works
but only untill i reboot then it is not there
does this mean this progam is running
or not

Ensure that you are logged in as an Administrator. Or uninstall/reinstall
and update to the latest build.
