HARD DRIVE WON'T WORK IN DIFFERENT LAPTOPS

HI I want to use my Sony Vaio hard drive in a different laptop but I
keep getting a blue screen with a white text message and the laptops
shuts down.I think it can be programmed to work but I don't know how to
do it,can anyone please help ?

Thats normal with modern OSs like XP. You need to do an
install in place to allow for the different drivers required for
the different hardware. That will mean you will have a problem
when moving it back to the Vaio tho if you plan to do that.

If you just want to move some files, there are better ways of doing that.
