Getting phone to ring through speakers

On my last computer running XP Home, I could hear the
phone ringing through my headphones. Now I have a new
computer at work, and cannot find where to get the phone
sound to ring in the headphones. I occasionally miss
calls because I cannot hear the phone ring.

I have a Data/Fax/Voice modem in both computers.

Any suggestions?

Any suggestions?

In most cases, this is because the modem card will have/need a connector
to the sound card; the card you have on the new system may either not
have such a connector, or may not have the sound cable installed between
the cards.
