How can i get "net meeting-remote desktop sharing" not to run on startup?

I have checked out my "system configuration utility - startup", but i don't
recognize it.?

Also, how do you get to "system configuration utility in windows"? (i always
go through my Vaio Help menu.

Is "system config utility - startup" the proper way to modify what
runs/loads on startup?

THANKS!!!!

Start>Run and type "msconfig" without the quotes. Look on the Startup
tab and uncheck anything that shouldn't be there. Apply and OK out. You
don't need to restart immediately, but when you do reboot you'll get a
dialog box saying that you've used the System Configuration Utility (of
course you know this!) - just check the little box that says in effect,
"don't bother me about this again".

The Netmeeting executable is conf.exe. Here's a link to where you can
look up the items you find on the Startup tab:

Thanks VERY much for your clear response and great link, which is
wonderfully useful.

You're entirely welcome, Andy. Thanks for letting me know it worked out
for you.
