I had recently bought the "GamePAd USB" for my PC. Since I
had XP, I was unable to install the device.

Please let me know if there are any steps or downloads
available to solve this problem.

Alternatively, please also let me know if there are any
good gamepads/joysticks that support XP.

You will need to get the XP drivers for this unit. XP does not normally
have the USB drivers built-in. Just go onto the unit's manfacturer and
follow their direction for install the unit in XP.
