frontpage 2000 will not start and freezes computer

frontpage 2000 has been working great for many years, now, the FP flash
screen opens and then FP freezes the computer. I am using IE 6. I have not
loaded any new programs that I am aware of, I have uninstalled and installed
FP at least a million times have emptied the cache, deleted temp files and FP
still will not start. I am desperate for some ideas to fix the problem.

Thanks Rob, but the programme did not work. Tried it several times. Still
open for suggestions.

Repair the current install, under Help or Control Panel | Add/Remove
