loading front page on a new computer

I currently own FP 2000, 2000 upgrade, and FP 2003. My new computer uses XP
Proffesional but when I originally purchased FP 2000 I was running Windows
NT. My new computer will not recognize the frontpage 2000 CDROM which I need
to load in order to upgrade to FP 2003. Is there a way around this problem?

I am a little confused about this. If you have FrontPage 2003 upgrade that
you are trying to install on XP Pro..then all you should need to do is to
start to install it..and then when it asks for a qualifying product..then
simply put in the CD that is the original full-version..and then the
installation should continue.

try cleaning the old FP2000 CD if it's not being recognized during the
upgrade process.

Problem solved. Thank you very much. My mistake was in thinking I had to
load the original software first and then do the upgrades.

I'm confused by the OP's statement "does not recognise the FP2000 CD" - it
should do - FP2000 will run on XP. Is it because the disk is damaged or
some reason like that?

It should be a simple matter to swap out the FP2003 disk for the 2000 one
for it to make the check of the qualifying product.

Have you tried both FP2000 and FP2000 upgrade disks? (both will qualify for
the upgrade to FP2003).
