How can I reinstall Front Page 2003 after upgrading to Office 2007

Recently bought a new computer and installed Office 2007. I cannot reinstall
Front Page 2003. The error message says I need Office 97, 2000 or XP in order
to reinstall. How can I reinstall FP 2003? I want to upgrade to Expression
Web, but afraid I will have to buy full version vs. upgrade version. Any
suggestions?

Your FrontPage CD sounds like the upgrade version, which requires a
previous version to install.

Expression Web upgrade requires any version of FrontPage or Office to
qualify, including Office 2007, so you will not have any problems
installing.

Note that when installing any upgrade version of a Microsoft program the
previous version does not have to be installed, however the installation
CD for that previous version may be required for the program to inspect.

Thanks, Ronx. Now that you mentioned it, I did upgrade from FP 2000. The
trouble is that I don't even know where that it. Once I upgrade, I normally
get rid of the old. I'll look and see if I still have it. Thanks, again.

Why would you get rid of the old disk if it's required to install the
upgrade, and you need to reinstall the FP 2003 another time?

Exactly - hang on to the older disk so you won't have this problem next
time - and same deal for future upgrades of any other software you already
have - when "Office 2010" or whatever comes out, you will need your previous
version to use the upgrade edition of the new version.
