FORGOT MY PASSWORD

I can't log on on my laptop i forgot my password, i used to have Windows2002
on my laptop but i changed it to Wind. XP, but now when i turn on the laptop
appears the log on like windows 2002 and not the blue screen like XP, i don't
know what to do, i tried to reinstall with my CD but my laptop doesn't read
it because i can't start any program, please help!! thanks

What is "Windows 2002"? Technically, I guess Windows XP could be considered
Windows 2002 since It went Office 2000, Office XP and then Office 2003...
So it went Windows 2000, Windows XP and sort of (not really) Windows 2003

You mean Windows 2000 - and now you have Windows XP with the classic
username/password logon?
How did you upgrade?
How long have you had this password problem?
Do you know your username even?
