Footers in PowerPoint

Ken Sprang

I have a slide presentation built upon a template created by someone else. I
cannot insert footers. I thought the problem lay in the software, but I can
insert footers into new blank presentations. How do I "turn on" footers. I
should note there are no placeholders for footers when I look at the Slide
Master.

Hi Ken,

Provided that you're using PowerPoint 2007, "turning on" footers is
quite easy:

1. On the Insert tab in the Ribbon, in the Text group, click Header &
Footer.
2. In the Header and Footer dialog box, check the box next to Footer
(and insert your footer text, if you like).

Does that help?
