PowerPoint Footers

Ken Sprang

I have a PowerPoint slide presentation with a template designed by someone
else. I cannot insert footers. I thought the problem was with the software,
but if I open a blank presentatiion, there are footers available. The
placeholders are visible. There are no placeholders in the template.

How do I "turn on" footers?

If go to the 'Insert' tab and then click 'Header & Footer', it gives you the
options to put headers & footers in specific slide numbers.

Check on the slide master that the footer placeholder has not been deleted.
If it has use Master Layout on the Master Toolbar to replace it. Does that
work?
