Hi

Did anyone have used a software called Extensis Suitcase for Windows
This software is for windows Font management, now one of the user ask to purcahse it as she faced a performance decrease after installed with about 200 fonts

Her machine configuration
P3 650MHz
256MB RAM
20G Harddisk..

She said this software can solve her performance issue, but I had search Windows XP newsgroup, someone stated WinXP can handle 300+ fonts without problem, so I would like to ask is this type of software can her
And what is the font limit that can WinXP handle without performance drop

You are correct that there is no font limit in XP and having 200 or even
300+ fonts on the system should not cause a problem. Therefore, the
user's problems stem from something else. Her computer does seem
underpowered for XP, but I'd look first for spyware, viruses, too many
services and/or legitimate programs running in the background.
