The hard disk on my wife's computer crashed. I managed to recover most
things using Spinrite but the C:\Windows\Fonts folder was trashed and as a
result the screen was pretty tough to read.
I copied the fonts folder from my computer to hers, rebooted and the fonts
looked much better.
The problem is that they are stuck at the 125% normal size (120 dpi)
setting. On many of the websites she goes to various buttons are missing
off of the botton of the display and she can't click on them to accept them
(bad website design but nothing I can change)
If I go to Display Properties / Settings / General the DPI setting is
"Custom Setting". When I drop down the list to see the other options they
are all missing.
I tried TweakUI but that didn't help
Is there any way to get the Nornal DPI setting back for the fonts? I don't
want to have to reinstall Windows from scratch. Am I missing a file or is a
registry setting corrupted?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
