Hi

I've installed Macromedia Fireworks, a previous version was installed too.
Then unininstalled the old version but I noticed that new version is not
registered.
Double clicking a file doesn't call the application. Files are not
registered because
the program itself is not either.

How do I fix that?

Ive tried uninstalling the application and reinstalling but nothing
changes...

Yep I did.
So I'm posting here because it's proper.
Xp programs, file associations etc...

No, I would say it's a Fireworks problem that was caused when you did not
uninstall the old prior to installing the new. You really should get help
from Macromedia! If they don't know why "their" program is not installing
properly I would change to a competitors product!
