I installed a SATA drive into my computer. I have the other drive as a
second drive. It is an IDE drive. I have the WinXP Home operating system
on both drives. The IDE drive is partition into two. When I boot with the
SATA drive, it can not access the programs on the IDE drive. How can I fix
this problem? Also, how can I delete the operating files on the IDE drive?

Thank you;
David

You have to install any applications you want to use. You installed the OS
on a new drive - you did not install any applications (yet) I assume. Until
you do, all the entires and shortcuts and such do not exists on your new
install in any easily accessible fashion.

Now if you just mean you cannot access the old files due to some "cryptic
message" like "Access Denied"...
