Install XP to another Drive

I have two hard drives in my computer. One is a SATA and the other is a
IDE. XP is installed on the IDE drive. The SATA is just a second drive
that once was the boot drive until something went wrong. I want to take out
the IDE drive and install XP on the SATA drive. I want to be able to put
files on the IDE to the SATA and have access to them. Also I want the
Add/Remove Programs that are on the Control Panel to show in the Add/Remove
Program on the SATA. What is the best way to do this? Will it involve
'taking owenship' of the files?

Thank you;
David

There is no "best" way to accomplish what you desire --
There is _only_ one way to accomplish what you desire:
Clone the contents of the IDE drive onto the SATA drive.

If you are not going to clone, disconnect IDE drive, install on SATA, note
you 'may' have to F6 to install sata/raid drivers from floppy.
Once all done & OK, reconnect IDE.
You may have to take ownership, depending on location of your data
