extracting 13 rar files into one exe or zip ?

I have used UltimateZip for a long time and it's served me well for all
kinds of archives.
But now I have a situation it cant seem to manage.
I have 13 RAR files which all are segments of a single program suite. I want
to either join them together into a single zip file (which UZ will manage)
or join and extract them all together into a folder.
I hope this makes sense?
The ultimate goal is to be able to install and run the program (which is
currently broken up into 13 rar files). And maybe keep it on a cd as an exe
file ready to use or as a zip which is easy to transport

For now, i think I've solved the problem with a trial period version of
WinRar.
It only lasts 40 days so if you know of another...
thanks

If you're comfortable working from the command line, the makers of
WinRAR offer "unrar" for free. Go to
http://www.rarlab.com/rar_add.htm
and look for "Command line freeware Windows UnRAR".

thanks . I tried to d/l it to see but the link is broken. I sent them an
email so we'll see. Not sure how the command line will work but I expect
there is a small help or instruction file? If you have a group of files
(parts of a whole) do you just place them in 1 folder and c:\path\unrar *.*

I use UltimateZip as my main unzipper and do this all the time - what
part of it is not working for you?

You can download it from here instead:
<http://www.rarlab.com/rar/unrarw32.exe>

After installing, type
UNRAR | MORE
to display the list of options, or
UNRAR > UNRAR.TXT
to make your own help file.

Now figure out which .rar filename contains the first part, and type
UNRAR e filename
to extract (if the filename contains spaces, put it in quotes). Just
type the first filename; unrar will find and process the rest or the
parts by itself.
