Explorer opens, but shuts down when I try to open any site

Internet Explorer opens up normally every time, but as
soon as I try to open ANY website (I've tested many) I
get an error message: "Internet Explorer (something)
needs to be shut down. We are sorry for any
inconvenience." The error message has a checkbox which
asks if I want to restart explorer or not, and There is
an option button for something about "sending an error
report to M.S.N.". Every time, my browser is disabled
and is shut down.

First eliminate any scumware.
See
Dealing with Unwanted Spyware, Parasites, Toolbars and Search Engines
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.
CWShredder is also available here:

**Post your HijackThis log to
http://forums.spywareinfo.com/ or the Spyware forum at
http://forum.aumha.org/ for expert analysis, not here.**
Alternative download pages for Ad-Aware, Spybot, HijackThis and CWShredder
may be found on this page:
http://aumha.org/a/parasite.htm.
If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.

.
I had a similar problem with winshow.dll shoing up in the
error message. I was able to install netscape and use that
to find this web site http://00hq.com they had a link to
remove winshow which is a hijack program which apparently
causes instabilities
