Internet Explorer shuts down

Carol

I keep getting an error message with Internet Explorer
and it has to shut down. The message reads something
like, "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and
must shut down. Any open data will not be saved. We
apologize for any inconvenience," etc., etc. Then I have
the options to send a report to Microsoft or not,
however, it does not matter if I send the report or not
because the problem still exists. I do not know how to
fix this annoying interruption. Any help is appreciated!

Carol,
This is probably being caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite)

Download, install, *update* and run these two programs:
Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
Spybot from http://security.kolla.de/

Hope this helps,
