trying to get a solution to a problem that occurs after
logging on to WIN XP.
Explorer.exe Has Generated Errors and Will Be Closed by
Windows... Error is caused by ModName:crtdll.dll

after a few system generated restarts, all is ok. but
repeats the above error message and subsequent restart
episodes.

Hi Dallas,

Start/run "sfc /scannow"

You may need your WinXP CD or to know where your I386 folder is located on
the hard drive, have it handy. You may be prompted for the \servicepackfiles
folder as well if you've already installed SP1, it is normally under
C:\Windows.
