explorer.exe error

I can not go into my control panel, recycle bin or windows
explorer. I get a message: faulting application
exployer.exe version 6.0 2600 faulting module browseui.dll
version 6.0 2600 fault address 0x000176cd.
Then the application restarts to my desktop. What can I
do and what caused this? Thanks
