Excel lockup, and strange mouse cursor icon

Icreated a multisheet Excel spreadsheet on PC 'A'. I placed that into the
Shared folder on PC 'B', via the MSHOME network.
When Computer B runs it's new SS, it loads up OK, but when we try to change
sheet, the whole PC locks up, the mouse cursor gains a rectangular 'page'
symbol, and a 'No Entry' sign replaces the mouse cursor when hovered over any
Windows commands. The only operations available are Ctrl + ALt + Del, to kill
the Excel application. Anyone any idea what is happening? SS runs
perfectly on PC 'A'.
