I have just checked out the status of my Windows 2000 Pro
installation and am informed I need 41 critical updates
(nothing has been updated since first installation about
18 months ago). Do I really need to install all of these
or can I pick out just some of the later ones.
(My PC has Outlook express 5.5 and Internet Explorer 5.5
as well. I am on a peer to peer network and the other PCs
have Windows XP os)

Would appreciate advise as my PC acts as a server and I
don't want to risk crashing the system.

Many thanks

I'm afraid you need all of them - where an update has been superseded by a
newer one or included in a roll-up that update will no longer be offered.
