error in ics

i have 2 computers both running xp...i had a cable modem
(toshiba/roadrunner) connected to the host via
usb...client was conected to host via hub and
ethernet...ran network wizard, viola! works
great...unhooked client(like a dumba**) and plugged dsl
(zoomtown)back in for speed test...tried to reconnect
client to host, and nothing but errors...message
reads "error occurred during config of network on this
comp..." wizard runs fine on client...have tried all
articles i have found in the knowledge base...once i got
an error 1068, dont remember offhand how i got
it...possibly trying to bridge interfaces...cannot seem to
find ics to un/reinstall...any help GREATLY appreciated...
