Stubborn ICS Problem

Three XP Pro workstations w/sp2. One is configured as with a dialup isdn
internet connection. Host can access internet and all workstations fine.
Two ics clients are manually configured and can access each other and the
host via lan, but cannot access internet.
ICS/gateway icon shows up on each client.
Enable/disable MS firewall on host and clients.
Enable/disable ZoneAlarm version 5.3 on host.
Network wizard wil not complete when run on host.
Reinstalled sp2 on host
Still no internet access for the clients.

One of the reasons for providing DHCP services with ICS is to pass the correct
IP settings to the ICS clients automatically. Any reasons why you aren't using
automatic settings for the clients?

If using manual ICS clients settings is unavoidable, let's see what settings are
dodgy. Please provide ipconfig information for each computer - the ICS server,
and the ICS clients.
Start - Run - "cmd". Type "ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt" into the command
window - Open c:\ipconfig.txt in Notepad, copy and paste into your next post.

Cheers,
Chuck
Paranoia comes from experience - and is not necessarily a bad thing.
