Hi i have an epson stylus c44ux and i have had no problems with it until it started to print things with a red tinge, when it should only be printing black. i have looked on the trouble shooting and every thing is working fine apparently. so does any one have an idea what could be wrong with it?

What sort of ink cartridges does it use? I know some older printers actually print black with all of the colours instead of a dedicated black ink. It might be worth cleaning the heads using the print software and making sure there is plenty of ink left in the tanks
