Enable Win2K fax service in OL2000

Hi,

I am trying to get "fax transport service" installed in my
Outlook 2000 services, but that does not work, there are
planty of services available in the list but "fax
transport service" !

:-((

I can send and receive faxes otherwise... with Win2K fax
service.

Thank you Russ, for your quick answer, unfortunately my
problem comes from the fact I cannot complete step 3 of
your procedure
(Add the Fax service to the Outlook profile you will be
using, using either Control Panel | Mail or, within
Outlook, Tools | Services.)

The "Fax" does not appears in the services listing...

That's very frustrating...

Can you help ?

We are using Lotus Notes (R5.0 : scrap, but I have no
choice), do you think Lotus Notes service could cancel
Windows 2000 fax service from the service listing ?

Search for all MAPISVC files. Hw many do you have?
In what order were Outlook and Windows 2000 Fax installed? Is Windows 2000
Fax installed and working correctly?

Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
I can't install the FAX TRANSPORTS service on my Win2K machine either.
I have it avaliable on one machine, but I have no idea what I installed
to make it avaliable. I have a clean win2k install a another machine
and I need to add Fax Transport... and ideas where I can find it?

I thought that it came if I installed Outlook, but still not there.
