Email problems

I know this has been covered lots already but Im having real problems sending
emails with vista. I read that it could be the antivirus so I've changed from
AVG to Avast. I've disabled all the email scanning but I still can't send!
Any ideas anyone?
 
What error message do you get? (Copy and paste the entire message in a reply.)

Do you have a stuck message in your Outbox?

note. It's always a good idea to delete and recreate your
email account within Windows Mail after changing
AV software.

Have you ever been able to send? Who is your ISP?

Please cut and paste the error message including all
the diagnostics, error codes etc.
 
Can anyone help me set up my POP3 server so I can recieve incoming messages
from my Gmail into my Windows Mail? I've followed all instructions and it's
still not working..

Error Number: 0x800CCC18

Any suggestions?

I had to check and double check all my settings in accounts, incoming and
outgoing, I have 4 email accounts and all are working good except I am still
puzzuled on the spell check not working.
