Os XP SP3 Norton 360 Dsl

Windows updated to EI8 now windows doesn't start right. Play and Plug service doesn't load:java doesn't work and printer not recognized; network connections window and device manger are blank and a ton of errors in system log.

been searching online all day for answers, tried at least 10 different restore points which didn't work very frustrated.

hoping to find a cure
thanks

If sounds like you have a whole host of errors there so it might be worth doing a repair install with your XP CD :)
