dll error message

I updated my OS to windows xp service pack 2 and now, every time I
reboot, I get an error message:

Run a DLL as an App has encountered a problem and needs to close.

When I go deper into the error message it tells me:

App name rundll32.exe
App version 5.1.2600.2180

What is causing this error message?

Yes I upgraded to IE7 at the same time I upgraded to serrvice pack 2

I think IE7 is the culprit!
If you can (and there have been issues when reverting back) un-install & and
install IE6 and see if the problem disappears.
Or go to the IE Users group (if there is one) and see if they can help or
call MS and see if they can help
