ok, i'll try again. i got what a friend calls a dummy
toolbar. on the left side of my desktop. can't move it.
can't shrink it. can't make it go away. i've right clicked
now i'am asking for help. thanxs, dano

Hi Dano,

It is an actual toolbar or the common tasks menu? If the latter:

Remove Common Tasks from the Desktop (Line 15)

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.

If this is not the case, right click the Taskbar/Toolbars and uncheck it.
