my desktop

i got what one friend called a dummy toolbar on the left
side of my desktop.
it has folder tasks, then other places then deatails. i've
tried desktop properties. i've tried right clicking. cant
move it, shrink it or get rid of it. help.

Right Click on the normal Task Bar, Click Toolbars. Locate
the name for the bar on your left side screen and remove the
Check beside it.

Try to uninstall it from add or remove programs if not
possible, try it from safe mode.
