desktop shortcuts

after creating a desktop shortcut of cd drive when I
click on it on the desktop I am told that it can't be
found or located - does something have to be in the drive
for it to locate it using winxp pro

If you want shortcuts to your drives -- Drag the My Computer icon all the
way into the left side of the screen then release. A toolbar will popup
there. Right click in an empty area of the new toolbar and you can select
"Autohide and Always on Top"
I find this real handy to get at any drive, control panel etc.

Don't know if you knew about this or not - A lot of people don't know that
one is available.

I am also waiting. I agree with you, not that big of
a problem. I've got bigger ones. )
