Windows 10 How to create individual shortcut for each user

I am trying to create a shortcut on every user's desktop to their particular file on the server.
The shortcut works to go to: "\\server\demi\Master\Originals\User\IntelAce.accdb"
But will not work to change user to %USERPROFILE%
Can anyone suggest correct way to do this please?
