Cursor inexplicably jumps/scrolls 3 lines down!!

Not sure what happened but it started doing this on its own about once every
minute. It's been going on for about 3 days know and is getting very
annoying! Please help.

Reinstall your video adapter drivers. If that does not fix
the problem, you may have a defective video card or it needs
to be reseated in the slot.

Also:

Open XP's "Help and Support" and type: TEXT SERVICES , and hit enter.
Then click on "Turn text services off or on". You need to turn-off text
services if its turned-on.
