Crash when defragmenting

I get the BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH when I defrag my C drive. I get a KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR Stop:0x0000007A (0xE1DAFD48, 0x000000E, 0xBF916A74, 0x2EB28860) message. What is this and how do I fix it? Fairly new user, so be gentle

this machine is in dire need of professional help...take it to a shop in
your area....
