Computer in Boot Up Loop

My computer is in a constant boot up loop. It makes it as
far as the Windows XP screen with the loading bar at the
bottom. When that screen goes away the computer restarts
itself. So I'm lost in an endless loop of boot up.

Can anyone help me? Your help would be much appreciated.

Chris is correct Gregg. Should that fail go back ino the safe mode and
attempt to see if the PC will accept you going back to an older restore
point. Failing that then a Windows XP repair is in order.
