collections-best advice for a movie

I have 90 avi files that I had imported into the collections. When it
imports this, where does it save the collection file? After getting the 90
avi files imported I thought I would combine the avi files to one hard drive
- now I have no collections and have to start over importing. Can I import
multiple avi files at one time? I am going to make highlight videos, so I
need all the files in the collections. Would I be better off using something
like Sony Vegas Movie to do this complex project? Any advice would be
helpful.

After moving the files did you see Red Xs in Movie Maker?
Just right click the Red Xs and browse to the new location...
maybe you can re-establish the links.

Maybe the following link will offer some ideas:

Movie Maker 2 -
Managing - Collections

or...

As mentioned in the article:
"Movie Maker 2 -
Managing - Collections"...
here's the path to the
MEDIATAB1.DAT
database file:

C:\Documents and Settings\>user name<\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Movie Maker\
