Importing files

I created a collection named "2005 Movies" and selected it. I then click on
"Tasks" and "Import videos". I selected multiple .AVI files and clicked on
Import. WMM then creates a collection for each of the .AVI files. I don't
want it to do that. I want all of the .AVI files in the "2005 Movies"
collection. I then have to select each collection and drag the .AVI files to
the "2005 Movies" collection. If I import .JPG or .BMP files, it works as I
expect it to, it puts all of the photos in the single collection. How do I
import multiple .AVI files into a single collection? I'm stumped. WMM is
version 2.1.4026.0. Thanks in advance.

Sorry that works with audio and still images but you can't do it with
videos.
This is a Movie Maker "Feature" that I can't stand either but that is simply
the way it is.

Thanks for the reply Wojo.

Anyone from MS reading this thread? Can we get this "feature" corrected? My
digital camera takes lots of little AVI files that I want to combine into a
single movie.

Is there a "Wish List" site for WMM? I searched Microsoft.com for "wish list
XP" and it found this support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=114491 but
unfortunately I get a page not available error from the site.

Really?
So they decided to undo their new "feature"?
You already knew I would be happy to hear that! :)
