Can't set printer as default

I installed a Brother network printer on my network (Ethernet
connection). It prints fine, but I cannot set it as the default printer
in Windows - when I right-click the printer name in Printers and Faxes,
the Set as Default command is missing from the popup menu (although
present for my other printers).

Any ideas?

Uninstall it, then reinstall it and choose the Use This Printer as Default
during setup.
