Can't Import messages into Windows Mail from Outlook 2002

Had OL 2002 up and running just fine (aside from the password issue). Then
decided to go with Windows Mail. During the Setup, WM imported all messages
from my 'Archive.pst) file. I need the more current messages from my
Outlook.pst' file. OL 2002 is still installed, pointing at the 'outlook.pst'
file, and still working. When I try and 'import|messages' from WM, I get
'MAPI is not installed' .

Help.
